BMW & MINI Key Reading

Using our genuine BMW and MINI key-reading device we can access your vehicle’s data which is stored in the ignition key on newer models.

This includes the vehicle’s details, such as the VIN number, total mileage, the digital service history including service dates, any current fault codes and predictive information to help with future servicing. This complete overview gives us a full diagnostic picture and allows us to carry out only the required servicing and maintenance as dictated by the manufacturer. This reduces the risk of missing anything, however minor, and can be very useful in identifying minor issues before they become major and therefore expensive.

Once any servicing or maintenance has been carried out we can update your online service log together with the vehicle’s memory and this updates the data stored on your key.
